Our Vision

Sapien is a democratic, tokenized, and reputation-based social news platform that is able to reward millions of digital content creators without a centralized intermediary. Sapien is supported by utility tokens, SPN, and was built to provide a smooth user experience that provides the benefits and power of blockchain and decentralization to the masses.

Problem

According to a study conducted by Stanford University, there were more than 30,000,000 counterfeit goods distributed in the 2016 presidential election.26 In this era of false news and alternative facts, it is not surprising that subscriptions for more reliable sources have increased. New York Times revenue, for example, reached $ 1 billion for the first time in 2017.32 People need access to quality content without worrying about the authenticity of publishers and journalists behind it. Revenue generation must move from a manipulative "eyeball" business model to a more sustainable and strong model. Transparency is very important in news, because news content directly influences the masses by motivating our beliefs and behavior.

SPN Token Utility

Tokens will be in the form of Staked and Unstaked. The token at stake will give the user platform functionality. Unsaved tokens can be stored in a wallet that is compliant with an external ERC-20.

Establishing a Consensus Proof of Value Protocol

In essence, SPN allows us to collaboratively differentiate high-quality content across the Sapien Network. Evidence Mechanism Its innate value will encourage quality contribution and value the user. When user contributions are evaluated throughout the network, they will collect scores that reflect their contributions

We hold sales of our tokens from 31 January 2018 - 15 February 2018. Users

exchange ETH with the SPN utility token, which gives access to the alpha version

from the Sapien platform.

Crowdsale Sapien was a huge success, increasing more than 12,000 ETH only in

two hours. In total, the team collected more than 20,000 ETH from more than 5000 users
