Octopus Robots and Covir.io: A Partnership

One effective method to disinfect these public spaces is adopting the technology of Octopus Robots.

Above is one of the Octopus Robots design and with COVIR that helps the disinfection of different places. I have read the white paper and other presentation materials of COVIR and I was amazed. I liked it how they laid out the plan and how they created the robots in a way that only the robots will be the one to disinfect the whole place with no human intervention at all!

Artificial Intelligent robots that know Metadata and aware of autonomy---> In these times of pandemic and other calamities in terms of health, it is important that us humans should be away from all places that are having an outbreak or the areas infected within the building and any other pathogens that we may inhale in our body. We have good news about that problem wherein no more medical team or disinfectors should go within the quarantine zone or in the building that is infected by a virus.
Because we already have here Octopus Biosafety robots! They are not ordinary robots if you will ask me. They are programmed by the Octopus Robots team which is decades in the business already with competitive engineers and developers for this task. What these robots have is artificial intelligence. You may ask what is AI? It is the cumulative programming that makes this robot shadow what a human disinfector does less the risks of having a human get disinfected because these are robots. So, what the robots will do is scan the area wherein they will disinfect. After that, they will do the disinfection procedures with the use of different tools created as well to reach even the farthest and most hidden places with powerful pressurized nozzles that shoot disinfecting solutions. C. MOBILITY
The disinfecting Octopus robots are also made up to last and are able to move easily and quickly to attend to certain emergencies. It can be used indoors and outdoors because the wheels are installed with 'pneumatic' tires. This means it is also using tires pumped up with gas inside to run easily around the area where the work is being made. They also used Mecanum wheels. After checking on Youtube what Mecanum is, it is like the type of wheels that has 'power-steering' capability but instead of installing it on a bus to turn easily even in narrow spaces, it is also used by Fybots and other robots of COVIR to easily maneuver in different spaces.
D. PERFORMANCE
As I said awhile ago, the Octopus Robots team engineered the robots to be able to withstand pressures in work without compromising the quality of work. Because they have used the top-quality standard materials for the robots and the nozzles on them can withstand the outside factors like the temperature and air pressure around while working. Therefore, the disinfecting solutions will be shot to the area that is the target. No what-ifs for these robots. They will do the work no matter what! That is how dedicated this robot is! I saw their products as well on Youtube videos and in their company.
E. Smart communication and proof of tracking work
Built with wifi technology, the operators or the one who monitors the COVIR robots while doing their work without manual remote control from a human just checks it from time to time to have reports on how much work have the robots did in disinfecting the certain area. If ever there are new tasks to be made by the robot, the human operator can just adjust the settings on the robot without any further technical checks. So amazing! Because we are using the blockchain technology, all data and the work of the robots are registered in the blockchain for people to see the records of the transactions with different clients without divulging the information of the clients because that is confidential. That is the power of blockchain especially Tezos.
F. Smart-charging station capability
This is the fun part of these robots. Other competitors of Octopus robots need human intervention when a robot goes out of power or disinfecting solutions. Well, here is a robot that can charge itself, refill its disinfecting solution, and do the work area where they left 24/7! Amazing right? No other robots can do that except the Biosafety robots of COVIR!
G. Security
Why is it secured? Because while the work is being done, no humans are needed to operate them lessening the risks of any infection. After the work, the COVIR robots can disinfect itself as well then it will just be maintained by the operators afterward if washing/cleaning is needed because of mud, soil, and other factors and it is already safe to touch again.
Usage of the Biosafety COVIR robots in different places is applicable as well guys! Whether it be shopping malls, buildings, airports, hospitals, streets, government buildings, and outdoor sites can be used with these robots. I saw on their brochure that it kills all types of pathogens in the air. Because it is designed to reach the deepest distance, plus the 360-degree movement by the robot, we can be assured of an even spread of the solution and more than enough to kill the virus and pathogens that could cause outbreaks.

Overall, I was impressed by the project and its mission and vision to disinfect to prevent these types of air-borne viruses. Always remember, prevention is better than cure always. It is for the preservation of the economy and the work of people to have the operations of businesses to keep going.
